WHY YOU’D LOVE IT!

The Rovos Rail Wing Safari offers a unique blend of luxury travel and exceptional wildlife encounters, making it an unforgettable journey for any safari enthusiast!
The train itself is a marvel of old-world charm and modern comfort, offering guests a lavish, relaxing environment as they traverse the breathtaking landscapes of Southern Africa. One of the highlights of this experience is the Hunter’s Safari, where guests can participate in an exclusive, guided hunting adventure. Led by professional trackers and guides, the safari offers a rare opportunity to engage in ethical, sustainable hunting in private game reserves, surrounded by some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife, such as lions, leopards, and elephants. The thrill of the chase is balanced with a deep respect for nature, ensuring a truly immersive and responsible hunting experience.

For non-hunters, the Rovos Rail Wing Safari also offers an array of thrilling side activities that immerse guests in the region’s natural beauty without the need for hunting. Wildlife enthusiasts can embark on game drives, guided bush walks, and birdwatching excursions, all while staying in luxury lodges. These activities provide plenty of opportunities for photography, storytelling, and learning about the diverse ecosystems and conservation efforts in place. Whether you’re an avid photographer, a nature lover, or simply seeking a serene escape, the Rovos Rail Wing Safari offers something for everyone, ensuring that each guest leaves with a deeper appreciation of Africa’s wild heart.
