Victoria Falls is the 7th wonder of the world! Located in Zimbabwe, situated in the heart of Southern Africa and entirely landlocked. 12% of its land is allocated to National Parks and Game Reserves.
Undoubtedly, the country's most iconic attraction is the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world, locally known as Mosi-oa-Tunya, or the "Smoke That Thunders" because of the spray made by the mass of water dropping 100 meters below in the gorges. Victoria Falls is twice the size of Niagara Falls and stretches across a significantly longer distance. Visitors can get up close to the falls, but be prepared to experience some splashing.
The Victoria Falls, now in it's 150 millionth fantastic year, - its zenith in about May each year. It’s a truly awe-inspiring experience—the sight, the sound, the smell—and the humbling feeling that this is indeed nature's supreme masterpiece. No photograph can begin to depict reality. And nothing prepares you for your first sight. .

David Livingstone was the first European to see the Victoria Falls in 1855. The Scottish explorer is believed to have been the first European to view the falls, and he named them Victoria Falls in honor of Queen Victoria.

The Linyanti River is a permanent watercourse and is thus a magnet for the wildlife of northern Botswana and a destination for migration from the dry areas of northern Botswana. Game viewing is therefore excellent, especially during the dry winter months when surface water from rainfall has disappeared in other areas.
In terms of fauna, lion is common along with spotted hyena. Leopard frequent the larger trees in the riverine forest. Antelopes such as kudu, impala, reedbuck and steenbok will be found all year round. The area is a stronghold of waterbuck; these are found in few other areas. Giraffe are stalwarts here as are warthog and baboon. Wild dog traverse the area and are most likely to be seen in July and August in the Linyanti.
The presence of large game in this region significantly increases during the dry season, attracting substantial herds of impala, blue wildebeest, giraffes, and buffaloes, along with the world's highest concentration of elephants. The area is also home to multiple packs of wild dogs, and sightings of lions, leopards, and cheetahs are frequent occurrences. Nighttime drives present opportunities to encounter nocturnal creatures like civets, genets, honey badgers, and spring hares.

A wildlife-rich and diverse ecosystem that offers a mosaic of lagoons, shallow flooded pans, open grass plains, and wooded woodlands is located on the boundaries of the well conserved Moremi Game Reserve. Without a doubt, one of Botswana's most picturesque regions is the Khwai region. Take advantage of the traditional Khwai village's cultural offerings while staying at Khwai Leadwood.
The Khwai Concession is a private reserve adjacent to the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve, separated from this reserve by the Khwai River. Dominated by grasslands, permanent flood plains and large areas of Mopane forests and home to large herds of elephants take their bath next to hippos, whilst being watched by lechwe antelopes. As the Khwai concession lies outside the parks, it offers the freedom and flexibility normally only possible with the heavier price tag of a private concession. Go off road for a closer look at sightings, night drives in search of nocturnal species, and with a little advanced planning, head out on game walks to check wildlife on foot!
During the dry season, many animals migrate down from the Linyanti area because the Khwai River provides a reliable source of water, attracting many antelopes, giraffes, buffalos, and zebras. There are also numerous bird species, particularly egrets, cranes, vultures, and various eagle species that specialize in catching catfish.
ACTIVITIES
During your time here, you’ll spend most days exploring the narrow Khwai river, which forms the natural boundary to the Moremi Game Reserve the south. The Khwai river is a beacon for wildlife and plays host to leopards talking Letswe in the long grass, lions swimming from the banks to save their cups during territorial disputes and crocodiles competing with while dogs for a meal of Impala.

Situated along the picturesque Khwai River, opposite the Moremi Game Reserve, this camp, formerly known to seasoned Botswana safari enthusiasts, has undergone a significant transformation. Now positioned further west within the Khwai Community Concession, it offers a completely new experience. While its simplistic design may evoke memories of Botswana's traditional safari era, when adventurous travelers camped in the wild, it has evolved considerably from its original nomadic concept.
Maintaining its stunning riverside location overlooking the wildlife-rich game reserve, Khwai Lediba now sits approximately half an hour west of Khwai Village, close to its sibling camp, Khwai Leadwood.
Surrounded by lush vegetation comprising majestic leadwood trees and riverine forests lining expansive floodplains and the Khwai River's banks, the area teems with wildlife year-round.
Serving as a crucial water source linking Botswana's northern reserves of Chobe and Linyanti with the Okavango Delta, the river attracts diverse wildlife species, including elephants, lions, leopards, and wild dogs. During much of the year, the floodplains transform into shallow lagoons adorned with water lilies, attracting numerous colorful bird species. Away from the river, pockets of mopane woodland interspersed with natural pans provide additional watering holes, drawing various animal species.
Featuring only 7 tented chalets, six doubles, and one designed for families, the camp retains its intimate atmosphere. Simple yet contemporary, the chalets feature unadorned poles supporting canvas shade roofs, set on slightly elevated wooden decks. Tented walls adorned with mosquito netting create an open ambiance, while en-suite bathrooms boasting indoor and outdoor showers allow guests to immerse themselves in the natural surroundings.
Activities at Khwai Lediba revolve around guided game drives in open-sided 4WD vehicles, whether during the early morning, late afternoon, or after dark. Depending on water levels, guests may also enjoy walking safaris or mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions.
Guided game drives explore both the Khwai Community Concession and Moremi Game Reserve. In the private reserve of Khwai, guides may venture off-road for closer wildlife encounters and conduct spotlit night drives, activities not permitted in Moremi or Botswana's national parks. Similarly, guided walks vary in length and route based on wildlife movements and seasonal factors.

How Many Blank Pages Are Required by Each Country?
- Many countries have a specific travel regulation for the number of blank passport pages visitors should have. This is to allow space for visas and visa stamps.
- Before embarking on an international trip, it is important to check your destination’s passport requirements to ensure that you meet them.
- Having a certain number of blank passport pages is a mandatory rule for some territories, along with any necessary travel documents such as an eVisa or Travel Health Certificate.
- Each border authority has its own passport requirements for travelers. The number of compulsory blank pages depends on the individual territory.
- Countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, and Morocco only require visitors to have 1 blank page to enter.
- Others, for example Germany, India, and South Africa, follow a 2-page regulation.

What if I am visiting multiple countries?
- If a trip consists of visiting multiple countries, it is necessary to add the requirements of each country together.
- For example, if you are traveling to somewhere that requires 1 page, then continuing to somewhere that requires 2, you will need to have a total of 3 empty passport pages.
Can I Add Passport Pages?
- Most countries do not allow passport holders to add pages. The United States, for example, previously provided this service but no longer do. The same applies for the UK.

Misplacing or losing original travel documents is frustrating and time consuming as it takes time to have them replaced.
